Your subscriber count, engagement rate and video performance is the bread & butter of every creator on YouTube. #gifted uses this data to accurately match you to the right brands and gifts on the #gifted app.
#gifted and YouTube permissions
In order for #gifted to read your channel statistics and video performance, we have to request a permission known as "youtube.force-ssl" which is a very broad access level to your account and includes permissions to see, edit, and permanently delete your YouTube videos, ratings, comments and captions.
Unfortunately due to limitations provided to us by Google and YouTube there is no other way to access the data needed without asking for this permission.
#gifted never changes anything about your account. That means we won't ever modify your channel or videos. And we never store your access tokens in plain text - we encrypt them to make sure they are secure!
